Coastline Trips
Everyone is guaranteed to Catch! This trip targets a variety of species such as 15 different species of Rockfish, Halibut, Scorpionfish, Lingcod, Whitefish, Bass, Yellowtail, Sheephead and more. Summer months Barracuda and Bonito may also be in the area. The longer the trip, the better chance of catching a wider variety of species. Each person needs a one day fishing license $21. We provide fish fileting for this trip and ziploc bag your filets to take home. No tuna, marlin or dorado on this type trip that's offshore and coronado islands only. Alcohol Is allowed. No age restrictions.

​Coronado Islands Trips
Here fishing is always fun and exciting, targeting species such as Yellowtail, Bonito, Rockfish, Lingcod, Sheephead, Bass, Barracuda and sometimes Bluefin Tuna. Guaranteed catch for rockfish. Mexico Requires A Passport, One day Visa $47, One Day Biosphere Bracelet $15 and Mexico Fishing License $25 are required PER Angler. I will be supplying the one day Visas and Biosphere Bracelets. Tackle Shop Up Top Sells The Mexico license. Alcohol is allowed. No age restriction.

Mexico Fishing License $25 required (Mexican License can be purchased online. If your not allowed to fish Mexico waters due to career we can alter).
When it comes to fish fileting we require using a processor. We have many options to choose from and some even ship to your door. Most require a reservation and can be done online. I am able to filet a fish for you at the end of trip if looking to eat that night as well

Custom Trips
We offer custom trips as well on our boat or yours. Dolphin and Whale watching is a common one. Sightseeing , Bay Cruises , Sunsets as well. We have even taken people out to test inventions. Give us a call and tell us what you need!​

​Trip Details        

- All trips offered include rods, reels, tackle, bait, ice for fish storage, bottled water, light snacks.

- Current California fishing license required for each angler 16 years of age or older.  

- If cancelling trip within 14 days of trip, deposit is forfeited. If cancelled 15 days or more from trip date, deposit will be fully refunded. If canceling due to covid your deposit will be held until a future rebooking.

- Be sure to bring food, layered clothing, sun protection (hat, sunglasses and/or face shields). Cooler provided on board to store your food and drinks. Alcohol is allowed. 

- Rates do not include damage to the vessel done by passengers or loss of boat rods and reels by passengers. 

- Mexico Fishing License required for each angler when fishing in Mexican waters. We will let you know when it's needed. They are about $25 each and can be purchased here. 

- For Coronado Islands trips each person will need a 1 day Entry Visa which is $47 each. 

- We Accept Cash Card and Venmo have (Additional 3% Fee)

*Pelican Sportfishing reserves the right to cancel or postpone a trip at anytime due to unsafe weather or other factors that are not safe or affect the trip. If that is the case, you will be refunded or rescheduled. When aboard a vessel you are responsible for all of your own safety and actions. Boats move around and can be unstable. You take all risk and can not hold the Business, Captain or crew at fault. Gift certificates are non refundable. 
PROMISES, GENERAL RELEASE, WAIVER, AND CONSENT AGREEMENT
Customers fully understand that they are boarding a charter fishing vessel to fish in open water.  You as a customer understand and assume the risks and hazards associated with boating and fishing.  These risks and hazards include, but are not limited to, the following. Sun, rain, sea spray, and any other weather conditions; sea sickness, pitching and rolling, boat in motion underway, slippery and wet decks; injuries, internal or external, from: boarding and disembarking the vessel; fish, fishing, fishing tackle, and gear; and the unintentional conduct of any other persons on the boat, lack of nutrition or hydration.
Customers must understand and agree that THEY will not hold the Captain, Crew, Marina or Company liable for risks and hazards associated with boating and fishing, and customers expressly release them from all such risks and hazards.  Moreover, customers can not be in possession of any illegal substances, and customers release the Captain, Crew, and Company from any liability whatsoever for any illegal actions taken by them self (customer) on the vessel. Customers further understand that this trip is not recommended for anyone with pre-existing conditions such as circulatory problems; high blood pressure; heart conditions; pregnancy; weak bones; knees, back or ankle problems.
All customers understand this Promises, General Release, Waiver and Consent Agreement and understand it is a legal document designed to inform cutomers of risks and release the Captain, Crew and Company from any and all liability for personal injuries, mishaps, or omissions from the conduct of other fisherman (intentional or not) and crew (unintentional) during this fishing charter.
Customers upon booking a trip with Pelican Sportfishing agrees with the above terms and constitutes a waiver and release for any future charters they may take with Pelican Sportfishing.
