Well that's a wrap for 2022. It was the year of the Mahi. We broke all records and goals. Thank you to everyone who fished with us. Be safe during the holidays.

The first couple months of 2022 has been insanely busy between fishing trips and a major project on our Blackman Billfisher boat. We hope to have the Blackman Billfisher back on the water by April 1st. For the time being, we are honoring the pricing of the Billfisher and upgrading clients to the Defiance 290 Guadalupe. 

Thank you to all of our loyal clients who have already booked another fishing trip with us for the 2022 season! We look forward to making more memories this year. Here is a photo dump from recent trips. 

We've had an incredible year so far, running a record number of trips for our business. Bobby, our second Captain has been an amazing addition to Pelican Sportfishing and we are stoked to have him. If you had the opportunity to be on a trip with Bobby, you know how awesome, knowledgeable, outgoing and genuine he is!

What a busy year we've had so far! Just wanted to post an update on availability -

 We are super late on getting this posted to our website but definitely wanted to share some exciting news with you all. In December 2020, Pelican Sportfishing had the honor of being featured on the Red Tuna Shirt Club shirt of the month! When you check out their website, you can see what a huge honor it is to be included alongside some incredible fishing charters and lodges from across the world. When Austin from Red Tuna Shirt Club contacted me with the opportunity, I couldn't believe it! If you haven't heard of Red Tuna Shirt Club before, you have to check them out. Although you may have missed December's shirt of the month, they have an awesome new shirt coming out each month. 

Gil treated his son and a couple friends to a full day at the Coronado Islands. Loaded the bag with some bottom fish and found some barracuda to pull on. The yellowtail did not make an appearance today. Great group and fun times! Thanks so much Gil for choosing Pelican! Look forward to having you guys aboard again! 

Ran doubles on this day and for the PM had a nice family from Illinois. They got this big (legal) halibut but we safely released it. I always respect customer's wishes for catch and release trips. This family offered to let me keep it, but I decided to return it for another day! Maybe another Pelican Sportfishing angler will hook up on it soon!
