August 3rd -Awesome AM Half Day

Had a blast with this group on an AM Half Day Trip along La Jolla. Nice size red today as well as lots of other mix species.  Tunes jamming, rods bent and lots of laughter! I love when people have such positive, excited attitudes from the moment they get on board. Thank you Johnathon for choosing Pelican for you, your wife and friends. I had a great time and am looking forward to next time!

"Went out for a coastal fishing trip this past weekend with my wife, my buddy and his girlfriend and we had a blast! My buddy and I are avid fishermen but have never fished out of San Diego before and Shaun shared a wealth of information with us AND put us on the fish! We went on the 6 hour coastal trip and Shaun delivered an amazing experience and we loaded up the cooler with a constant bite of rockfish and almost a dozen other species. Shaun was at the dock early and brought us back late. He baited hooks for my wife & buddy's girlfriend and took their fish off. The boat is in tip top shape, and all 37 fish we kept were fileted and on ice when we got back to the dock as well. Shaun is also super friendly and makes sure that YOU are the one who is catching the fish. All four of us had a great time and we're looking forward to heading out with Shaun down to the Coronado Islands to chase Yellowtail next time. I've been on many fishing charters, literally around the world, and Captain Shaun and Pelican Sportfishing are tops. Thanks Shaun!"    - Johnathon Fata
