June 10th - 12 Hr Offshore & Inshore

Jerry joined me aboard on Monday June 10th. He had the boat all to himself and was visiting San Diego from Taiwan. He had experience fishing and wanted to try a bit of everything - offshore, inshore and bottom fishing. We started our trip heading straight out west in search for Bluefin. We hooked up and Jerry fought a 60-100 pound bluefin for over 30 minutes, taking him around the boat 4 times. I provided assistance when needed. This bluefin wouldn't budge and the hooked pulled out. Jerry had a blast fighting the big bluefin but knew his arms needed a break so we headed inshore. Jerry was rewarded with a yellowtail, some rockfish and a lingcod, all released per Jerry's request.
