On Wednesday, the 19th, I had to unfortunately return my passengers to the dock, due to boat issues...every captain's nightmare! I was so bummed but thankful for customers who were extremely understanding. We were able to get them out a couple days later thanks to a partner that helped out. Got to work right away and determined it was a bad valve on the intake side. It was good to find the problem but I was so bummed knowing that I had 4 charters coming up in the next 5 days and parts and repairs would take time. Thankful for partners who stepped up and helped get customers out on the water when the boat was down! After a full cleaning and lapping in the new valve, the engine was ready to be put back together for a water test. Test went great and boat ran smoother than it ever has. Feeling very grateful for everything my dad taught me about working on my own cars and boats. Thanks Dad!
